Help two questions

how do i delete text messages?i tried through settings and did not see anything.how do i add more apps?i have a 32gb card.hope i don't have to root my phone.don't want it to break.plus i have a learning disability.so i'm not good at reading a lot of steps etc

You won't get but a few apps without rooting your phone. Messages you just long press on the thread or message you want to delete.
