Help Two Things...

Anyone know ways to help these two problems.

1. When the phone is on silent, and I get a text message, I'd like for it to show the screen when I receive the message and have it light up in addition to the LED light blinking.

2. I have two email accounts on the phone, my work one uses exchange and I have over 2k emails on it, but when I say to download all it doesn't, it starts to and then stops, won't get anywhere near recent emails, normally cuts off about 3 months ago.

Please let me know if you have any solutions.

1. Handcent. That's all there is to say.

2. I don't think any email app is ever going to download that many emails. Mine (K-9 for non-Gmail) is set to only get the last 25. Even if you could download that many, I can almost guarantee it'd bog the hell out of your phone. Set it for something lower than "all".

Thanks, Handcent is a great app and I like it. The second though, my Iphone would download them all and keep it updated as I went throughout the day.
