Root Twrp 1.1.1

I'm still on 1.1.1 while others have moved on.

I am asking for an opinion here. Should I attempt to upgrade, move to a totally different recovery, or not?

I am currently running dirty unicorn 1.9 (but am about to download 1.9.1) which I have to reboot into recovery every day and wipe cache and dalvic so I can continue having MMS... but oh well... I tried asking that question the other day and got nothing)...

Maybe it's twrp 1.1.1?

Again, I am asking for an opinion if I should address this

Yes, you should update your recovery. TWRP has a new one that you can download from their site. You may also use 4EXT from this link. Just go into your bootloader (HBOOT) and type

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

while in your folder with fastboot (sdk-tools or S-OFF depending on the guide you followed).

I used to use TWRP, til I gave 4EXT a try and i got to say it has a way better interface then twrp. Give it a try and if you dont like it you can always go back

It's really a personal choice, I highly recommend 4EXT recovery, just be aware that changing your recovery, even updating team win will make your nandroids incompatible so plan accordingly. Duplicate threads merged.
