Root TWRP Doesn't Install

Got my N6 yesterday, rooted right after getting the 5.0.1 update and phone is running perfect however after downloading TWRP Manager and trying to install recovery all I get is "TWRP has crashed" on the bottom on the screen and the phone goes back to the home screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled....same thing. I liked using TWRP on my N5 but should I try CWM? Is there something I missed:? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmm, not familiar with the TWRP Manager app or what might be wrong with it, but you could always flash the TWRP custom recovery manually via fastboot.

CWM doesn't work either, says I have an unsupported device. I'm still learning much of this so I'm not sure what that truly means or what I am missing. Should I factory reset and start over? ooohh!!

Well I guess the third time is the charm, I installed TWRP Manager again from the Play Store, hit Install TWRP from within the app and recovery installed just fine. Confused but I'm glad I now have recovery working!! :D
