Weird, its working perfectly fine for me so far, backed up, flashed restored fine@JoshD Tried that probably 30+ times. You are lucky haha. If it decides to boot, ill flash the older version of TWRP.

No problems here either! I've flashed ROMs, made back ups, restored the same back up all mint!Working fine for me too.
Did you try fixing it with adb first before doing the brick guide? And did anyone who got this loop get any logs?Im bumping this so people will be catious with this version. To anyone using this i would recommend going back to 2.7.8.0 (or the latest besides 3.0) until this is fixed. You may fall victim to the TWRP loop (i did sadly and had to follow the brick guide) @Bad_MOFO_33 You should either close this thread if you can or put a warning on the post

I'm afraid I've fell victim to the twrp loop... I was booting into recovery by pushing volume down & power & bang it starts to go to the twrp screen over n over again! Please tell me my Volt isn't crap now! I'm not the smartest but I know I can do it! Please if someone could help me a little I'd gladly return the favor by donating or whatever it takes! Please help! I had just posted on a different thread like 6 hours ago that I've not had any issues with twrp 3.0.0 but guess what I had always booted to recovery by going from shutting the phone down, never shutting it down first then booting to recovery, that's what killed me. Now no matter what I do it loops twrp weather I turn the Volt on normally or boot to recovery! Please help!Im bumping this so people will be catious with this version. I may know something about this but I'm not to sure, please answer this question: is your SD card internal storage? If so, when you click install in twrp it freezes then I may know a work around but I'd need you to answer this.I'm afraid I've fell victim to the twrp loop... I'm not quite sure what you mean? My SD card is internal storage I believe but my external hard 2 different names cuz it's partitioned . what is your thought my friend?I may know something about this but I'm not to sure, please answer this question: is your SD card internal storage? What I meant is that if you made your SD card an internal storage meaning that you merged both the actual LG Volts internal storage plus your SD card to make it into one internal storage.. I hope that makes since. You can PM me so we can talk about it if you want.I'm not quite sure what you mean? This happen to me last night around 8:30. I just went to boot into recovery and it just randomly started looping. To fix it I just followed the brick recovery that's stickied on the main page. It took about half am hour to download all the files and flash them using the flash tool. Then another half hour to get the phone back to ZV6 then to install TWRP 2.7.8.0 then to restore my backup. Hey I have some unbelievable & strange news to share! After charging my dead tablet that I never use, I decided to toss my battery back in my Volt & power it up for the hell of it & low & behold voilà it booted into twrp, no loop! I proceeded to wipe & restore my back up of the original build of cm13 marshmallow & I'm on it now! I really thought I was screwed! Ya know what was different I didn't have my external 32gig micro sdcard in my Volt when I fired her up a lil while ago, while last night when I was in my bootloop nightmare I had my sdcard inThis happen to me last night around 8:30. You got lucky, I lost everything in my internal SD when I used the flash tool. I guess losing loads of pictures and music was worth it in the end thoughHey I have some unbelievable & strange news to share! I hear ya! I went through 2 Tribute's last May when I was rooting them, stupid errors that if you read the directions thoroughly, frak UP's wouldn't happen, generally! So again thanks for the insight! Take care! You got lucky, I lost everything in my internal SD when I used the flash tool. I guess losing loads of pictures and music was worth it in the end though
