Recently I have run into a problem where I don't receive text messages for an hour or so after they were sent, they usually come in waves so I will get 5+ at a time. I also haven't been getting picture messages but I can send them. I rooted the phone and then accidentally updated it. Root still works and everything else is fine.
I'm also using Handcent because I like it better than the default app. I have since "deleted" the default app.
Any ideas what could be causing the problem? I'm on AT&T's network, have an unlimited data and messaging plan, also I'm in a college town with pretty good reception so I don't think that's the problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
