The news is pouring in on just how devastating this storm was for those principally in the Philippines, but soon China and Vietnam.
For those looking to help, send aid, or whatever they can do, our local NBC affiliate has a list of some agencies you can donate to (whatever it may be).

Our org is on there. I second this. If everyone here just even gives a DOLLAR, then they have millions of dollars of aid. (Give more if you can. )

Word on the streets is that the relief goods aren't reaching the families :/ possibly due to the lack of passable roads.

If the politicians pocket the donation money, God help them in their next life

It sounds like they're still trying to clear a path to actually get to the folks since airports, roads, etc. are so demolished, it's going to take some time. Reminds me of Haiti a few years ago.

Chose to donate through the World Food Program. Wish I could do more, but it's within my means. Situation just looks so terrible.
