Typhoon Haiyan, how you can help

The news is pouring in on just how devastating this storm was for those principally in the Philippines, but soon China and Vietnam.
For those looking to help, send aid, or whatever they can do, our local NBC affiliate has a list of some agencies you can donate to (whatever it may be).
How to Help Typhoon Survivors: Organizations Offering Relief | NBC4 Washington
If you know of another way, please list it. I wish all those affected the best help possible and a huge thanks to the US Marines for working to provide swift aid in this terrible time.

Word on the streets is that the relief goods aren't reaching the families :/ possibly due to the lack of passable roads.

If the politicians pocket the donation money, God help them in their next life

It sounds like they're still trying to clear a path to actually get to the folks since airports, roads, etc. are so demolished, it's going to take some time. Reminds me of Haiti a few years ago. :(

You can donate directly to the World Food Program's drive for support to the Philippines through Google's OneToday app: (linky)

And if you don't already use it, the OneToday app makes it super-easy to donate a dollar (or more) to worthy charities each and every day.
