Typing Shortcuts?

[kratos]

Anyone know if there is a way to create typing shortcuts either natively or using a 3rd party app such as Tasker?

For example: Typing "mmt" in any text field would automatically convert to "Meet me there"...

There are many keyboards (i.e. Ai.type keyboard) that have Dictionaries that correct misspelled words. All you need to do is add the keys (that are not already in the dictionary as a word) and enter the text you want the "spellcheck" to type in the text for you.

Simple, and anyone can do it.... Even Me! :>)

Sorry, should've been more clear. I currently use Swiftkey and absolutely love it. I am not really looking for a different keyboard at this time (though if someone points me to one that is as accurate and has swype technology like Swiftkey I may be inclined to test it out).

Mainly looking to see if there is anything natively or by using Tasker....
