Help Typing Without Looking

I just switched from a t9 phone and I'm living my phone so far. The only complaint is that I can't find a keyboard that works without looking. I isuppose I just need to get used to the keyboardand find where the keys are. Swype is probably the easiest so far. I tried at9 keyboard but there are no physical tells to find the keys.anyone gave any advice or a trick that works for them?

I'm typing with one hand btw.

Swype is the best you are gonna get, I had the same issue coming from a t9 phone as well. You could type faster then most anything as long as you knew the grid and how many ups and downs it takes to get to a word.

SwiftKey is pretty nice as well - good word prediction if that is the sort of thing you're looking for. Vlingo has good voice recognition as well if totally want to go without a keyboard, but this technology is still not perfect by any means so neither Google or Vlingo can get it right every time.

started using swiftkey. it is amazing for typing while looking use that when i can look swype when i can't (or shouldn't be >.>)
