U-verse App with Captivate - having problems

Does anyone else have problems with the u-verse app on their Samsung Captivate? Mine keeps giving me errors every time I try to download a show. My wifes Iphone works great with the Iphone u-verse app takes less than 5 min to download a show to her phone. I was only able to download i show in 4 months of having the app and it took 4 hrs to download. The rest of the time it gives me errors, I deleted the app and reinstalled, but still does not work properly we need ANDROID SUPPORT...

I also found out that the show download on u-verse app does not work for tablet devices, this is because RIM has appartenly signed an excusivity agreement with AT&T and will probably only be available on the RIM Playbook tablet. Not sure how long the exclusivity will last. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to purchase a tablet device.
 
I terminated my Comcast Cable contract to migrate to U-Verse, since I was offered a really good deal. I believe it's just because I've been a very long time AT&T customer.

Long story short, I'm no longer using U-Verse (after three months) at home or the App on my phone.

I had the same experience on the phone that you are having. AT&T was a bit premature in creating it and it's simply too buggy to be of any use.

The reason I got rid of U-Verse in my home was speeds were simply not up to what they had promised, which I attribute to the fact that it's delivered over the phone lines instead of co-ax cable.
