The yahoo icon is missing.when i tried for downloading yahoo again it says "could not be downloaded due to some error".Any app update from the "market" are having same message. When i tried to down load from yahoo site it says " yahoo mail already installed in your device . Also mail sync in gmail and yahoo are not happening ,gtalk authentication failed notification is coming and often.

Welcome to Android Forums, Joefi!

The icon was most likely accidentally deleted from your home screen. It doesn't mean the app was removed, just the shortcut. Open your app drawer and scroll to the bottom and I bet you find the yahoo app there. Long-press (touch and hold for 2 seconds or longer) the icon and you will be able to drop it anywhere on the home screen there is room for it. If, in case, it wasn't a shortcut, but a widget, long-press an empty area of your home screen. Select widget and see if the yahoo widget is listed.

The other problems are indicative of not have an active data connection. Before you go to the market, make sure Wifi or 3G/4G is enabled and active. Try browsing to a website, then try the market.

If you still get the error, it would be helpful to know exactly what the error was.
