You use the same method of tethering found in the metro all things root forum. I used this for my motion when it had tether blocked. I am just copying and pasting a few things I posted there.
Download and install Firefox (PC) > download 0.7.3 and install (PC)> open Firefox > go to tools select user agent

Here is a user agent list I grabbed of the web. I have imported it to firefox and gives you many options of UAs to use. Hope its useful to someone.
I havnt tried it with other browsers, but i think it would work for them also.
Change the file type to .xml I had to change it to .pdf because I couldnt upload a .xml file. Hope that is not rule breaking, and if so please remove.
By default you have to select the user agent each time, but there is a trick to set whichever one you want to start up by accessing hidden menus in Firefox. If I have time I'll look for it again and add it here.
