I thought I read somewhere that although listed as having 800mhz, that this phone actually has 1GHZ....I might be wrong though

It's both. The phone is actually at 800MHz, but it's overclocked by default, out of the box, to 1GHz.

Ubuntu for Android also really opens the door for virtualization, which essentially answers the multiple-user question that Google has been having to deal with as of late, without too much coding voodoo. It should also give a large boost in performance, and many Android devices right now are actually capable of doing the virtualization too, already.

Actually, it was stated by some more experienced developers early on (not saying any names) that this phone has a 7x30 board that is an MSM8655 and IS in fact a 1GHz processor

Yea, I'm just passing on the word that I've received from those who've looked deepest into this device bro. You most likely know more than me about many things android. I'm just recounting information stated previously. In the words of phenom "I'm no expert"
