Root UD 8.0 question?

Couldn't find the answer to my question anywhere so I'm sorry if I looked in the wrong places.

Saw a screenshot of UD 8.0 after I rooted my droid again and was really happy to see the music controls on the lockscreen since that was one of my biggest annoyances about android. Long story short, I can't find the option to do that and was hoping for my AF people to help me out. TIA

From the homescreen go to Menu -Settings - Ultimate Droid - Input Settings - Lockscreen Music Controls (check that box).

Is there a link to d/l UD 8 that has the working ROM? The one on sourceforge is garbage. Also, why is it not in ROM Manager??

BlackdroidMod -> Download Manager -> Motorola Droid -> Ultimate Droid Froyo eXtreme 8.0.0 - Motorola Droid

tried this but a few things in the ultimate droid settings always force close. I mean like ALWAYS. how should I fix this b/c my chrome to phone is force closing too. Otherwise that rom is AWESOME

This might fix some/all of your force close problems:

Settings > Ultimate Droid > Quick Commands > Fix Permissions
