Help Uh...root help?

I've just successfully rooted my phone and flashed the Odex ROM. However, nothing is different. What am I missing here? The phone looks exactly the same...

What were you expecting? I assume you installed the rooted stock odex rom which looks exactly like stock except it's rooted.

Routing by itself won't make the phone look any different. It just essentially gives you full access to the phone software so you can install custom roms and kernels.

Oh ok. What kind of custom roms are available for this phone? Are there any Jelly Bean ones? I would like a JB one or one that's very similar to the stock ICS launcher, I hate sense.

This should be in all things root section but check out the all things root to see what custom roms they have if you aren't satisfied yet travel on over xda where there are plenty of custom roms to choose from
