So yesterday Inoticed I had weak signal at home and thought that was weird. Now I dont get 4g signal and get 3g or occasionally no data signal. I havent done anything in terms of settings and i havent been anywhere else to see if it changes.is there any way to fix this? ive not had this issue before while at home.

I would check with your carrier and see if they are doing any antenna work in you area.

First toggle your phone into Airplane mode, wait a few seconds, retoggle Airplane off and see if your FoGee! comes back. If not,

Go here down to post 11, go there and do that. :D

If THAT doesn't work, contact Metro, I'd recommend either the chat window from your account area at their website or their Faceplant page. If you do it there, be polite and firm, state the facts and leave your last name and last 4 of your phone number to them as a backchannel message.

Let us know which of these works.

I tried the network data reset (and airplane mode). It did not work for the 4G, but I think it may have boosted phone signal strength. I do have a question about the post you directed me to. The post says:

Then, the first thing is MDN which contains your phone number, click ok
Then you have the MIN which also contains your phone number, click ok

The MDN had my number, but when the MIN came up, it was not my number. Does that matter?

I guess it's time to try window chat.

EDIT: Finally got the 4G icon. I'll see if it stays consistent along with the phone signal. I'd still like to know about the phone number thing though.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm sorry I can't help you with *changing* (or not) those values.

That's above my pay grade here. :D I'm just a know it all in training.

Well to answer that it doesn't matter if the MIN is different. MDN is Mobile Directory Number which is your phone # but the MIN is just a number that identifies you it used to be where it would be your phone # but that all changed when you could port your # to another carrier.

Metro is doing a lot of tower work. Could be tmobile is supposed to be launching the new LTE markets that cover around 75 million within 5 days.
