uk 3.2 update

Hi

I was just wondering if anyone in the uk has had the update on their A500 yet?

If not, anyone know when it might arrive?

As Acer hasn't been all that reliable when it comes to release dates, I don't think anyone knows when the 3.2 will come......
Just to wait and see, I prefer a tested upgrade.....

Lets hope it comes soon.

I love this tablet but it needs to catch up with gingerbread 2.3.4 in features of stock apps.

Search in Email, Edit text in forwarded emails etc.

Current honeycomb seems more like tablet version of 2.2 rather than 2.3.

(Im comparing it to the changes I have on Galaxy S compared to S II.)

This is what Acer said on 1:st of September:

Acer Dear fans, many of you asked for the release of the Honeycomb 3.2 update for Acer ICONIA TAB A500/A501. We’ve just received confirmation today that the update will start from mid of September to the end of the month depending on the product models and countries. We wanted to provide a stable and problem-free OS to our customers. Stay tuned. We will keep you posted

Not surprising as we are in the middle of september, and Malaysia should be first out....
Let's just hope that is the case and that we will get our updates in time.

I already get the pop up to update for 3.2
But since no root available for 3.2 yet, i will wait for a few more weeks

Got mine tonight downloaded it but it won't install.
Message says invalid upload. The

updated mine and sure enough have lost root.

I was only rooted to use "drive mount" so not too fussed

Right got mine to load took its time but now working in okay.
