Help UK 3 mobile, compatible with unlocked Note?

Hi, I really want a Note but the only network with decent 3g speed where I live and work is 3 Mobile. Does anyone know if an unlocked Note will work properly with a 3 PAYG 'all you can eat' data sim in it?
I appreciate any assistance.

Well my Galaxy Ace that was locked to Virgin, works with 3 since I unlocked it. I don't know any reason why you should have any problem. Btw, you can get a net add-on for a fiver, 1gig of data for 30 days. With a free texting app and Skype, I have reduced my expensives lol.

Maccag, how did you unlock your Note?
I'm now considering getting one on the cheapest contract I can find and then putting the 3 sim in. I know this will work out more expensive than sim free but it avoids the initial outlay.

I bought mine from Germany so it was not carrier specific

Thank you for the reply. I bought one SIM free in the end so i didn't have to worry either. 3 sim should arrive today. T-mobile is painfully slow!
