UK Firmware Update Today

So vodafone are even behind 3 uk dishing out the June update. Interesting. 3 updates behind still?

No Vodafone are not behind, my mate is on 3 he still hasn't got this update, he has contacted 3 and they say they know nothing about it.

Anyone else on 3 got the update or have a newer version of firmware or can double check if theres is the same?

three are basically useless it seems (sadly). they've only provided one update so far which was the first one Samsung released I think which we got several weeks later. I keep pestering them on the three blog but so far no answer as to where our missing updates are. for me, three were the best network for my iPhone but I'm not happy with the lack of support on the s3

Ah ok. So vodafone are 3 behind and 3 Uk are 4 behind. Even so, pretty shocking.

XX is the country code. All UK are XX as are a few other countries... Then is A or B. No idea what this means. Then is the year code, month code and revision number.

L = 2012
G = July (7th letter, 7th month)
3 = 3rd revision.

This last character is 1-9 then starts on the alphabet.

So XXBLFB is UK-(B)-2012-June-Revision 11

I'm not saying it does. More that O2 are behind. Following on from your "vodafone are 3 behind and 3 Uk are 4 behind". O2 are 5 behind? Do they release one every month?

Just whenever really, since.. All these are newer than that O2 release (Though I dare say O2 will jump some):

I have that battery drain with my new update I think. The battery drains noticeably even with airplane mode on while i am sleeping while there wasnt much drain before the update...
