UK phone costs and delivery

Yes, a travel adapter should work. The UK charger ships in its own seperate box while the US charger is in the Nexus One box. A seperate USB to Micro USB cable is also included.

Ooh, look at you Martin, playing with your spangly phone for the last two days and whatnot ;)

thanks for the info on the travel adaptor - I once saw my boyfriend just plugging a two-pin American style plug straight into the UK mains and, to my surprise, nothing blew up. Clearly I don't understand electronics! Once the snow lessens a bit I might attempt the 30min walk into town and see if I can find an adaptor in preparation of delivery.

Yes that's correct - one for home and one for the office if you need it!

Orange have the best 3G network in the UK..

That's under debate, three claim that Orange measure it in a shady way, which if they did it the same, would mean they had vastly more than anyone in the UK. They have appealed to OFCOMedy to make them use a single way to measure coverage.

Vodafone have dire 3G coverage. It covers a big amount of *people*, by being in lots of cities, and having 4G or whatever the one above 3G is called now in many cities also.

However it is very poor in general coverage. I should know, I'm a bleeding vodafone customer
