So, I installed CM7. Made a back up for when it's out of beta.

Grabbed TBH's All in 1 GB 596, followed the wiping instructions, rebooted and now I am stuck at the M.

No biggie right? So I pulled battery, put it back in, hooked up to wall charger to get into CM Recovery...and it just sat at the M.

I came here to my CPU to SBF, and it's not going into the bootloader. Once again, just sitting at the M.

Thoughts? I gotta get this back up in some fashion in the next couple hours before I have to go to work....

once the phone is off, hold down vol down, camera, and power, wait for it to flash then release
and your in bootloader
flash the correct froyo file since there is no gb one yet, and follow the normal procedures for sbfing ^_^

After you SBF you may bootloop. If you're not prepared for this just unplug the phone and do a battery pull. Put your battery back in and hold down the home button while power the phone on. Keep holding down the home button and when the Triangle with the ! in it shows up press the search button and do a factory reset from there. That should take care of any bootloop problems you encounter after the sbf.

Yup I second this.

Okay, well got into the bootloader, and tried SBF'ing....but it keeps failing. Says there's an error, interference something or the other....I've tried four times now, and I'm concerned about my battery now. I do have all the updated drivers. When I put my battery back in it goes straight to bootloader now.....thoughts? ugh....

Here's the error.

Failed Flashing process. Failed Flashing Process. Interface BP: error sending RAM download for bootloader. Device API Error: 0xE0020085 Adress: 0x15FC00 Command ADDR (0xE0222085); phone connected

I did update drivers.
SBF = VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.sbf
RSD Lite 4.9

Windows XP.

About to have to leave for work and I'll have to re-download everything there for my Windows 7 machine....

you are battery pulling when you see the moto m
then putting it back in
and holding HOME+POWER
then when you see it turn on release power but continue to hold home til you see the droid exclamation mark
then hit search key
then wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
and then reboot
it should be working after that.

I had the same SBF problem awhile back. What I did was do the full SBF until it fails then go ahead and do the system only one. This worked perfectly for me.

Anyone have a link for system only? I have the full one here...

****edit******* got it.

Anyone know about the 2.2 vs 2.3 drivers?

there arent 2.2 drivers and 2.3 gb drivers
they are just moto drivers you install on your pc for the sbf process

and after you flash the sbf the phone will reboot and show the moto M
thats when you remove the battery, and then put it back in
