Root Un root evo?

What method did you use to root it?

It could be as simple as flashing an RUU to it.

Does it matter? I mean I googled it and there was one where you flashed it's for 2.2. Can I update the EVO after I unroot it?

It does if you used unrevoked forever. Other than that, I don't think it does.
