un-rooted phone not starting

I decided to unroot my phone so that I can download the jelly bean update without issue, well I scrolled down to part 3 of the thread http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-boost-mobile-all-things-root/706589-guide-root-unroot-gc01.html and followed the instructions to un-root since I was already rooted, I followed the steps and restarted but now my phone will not boot up, it only gets to the first screen (the samsung logo) but shuts off after that, I can get into download mode as well as recovery mode and I have even wiped my phone (thinking I could have a do-over) but it hasn't helped... Can it be saved??

btw... you know that gut feeling you get when you know you shouldn't do something... I had that feeling before doing this to my phone... I blame myself for not following the instructions properly. I just need help now getting it back to working condition if possible please :-)

I don't really know what you did . I have try that my self with no issues in 2 different galaxy s2 phones.

And yes, if you can get into recovery or download mode then you can still bring you phone back. Did you make a back up before doing anything to your phone?

Nevermind allot of patience goes a long way after searching for possible solutions I discovered that I needed to wipe data in reboot mode and that took care of it for me :-)
