un-rooting, updating and rooting again

I rooted my Samsung galaxy s2 phone (version 2.3.4). Now this ATT over the air update is
popping up on my phone all the time and its bothering me too much. The only way I can get rid off it, is pressing the home button. Would I be able to un-root the phone, apply the OTA update and re-root it using the same root I found at

Thank you. I will try to google it. But if you have the link to it, can you please post it? So you are suggesting me to un-root it, apply the OTA update and root it back again using the method you mentioned?

Can't you just find out what application is responsible for the notice and freeze or uninstall it using Titanium backup? Another thing is that, using a more up-to-date ROM will fix the issue I believe.

SuperOne Click *will not* work on 2.3.6 after you do the upgrade. I just went through this and had to go back to 2.3.4 and then re-root.

Find "device management" through TiBu and freeze it. This will stop the OTA nag. This is what I have done.
