Help unable to connect without WiFi!! HELP?

for some reason i've suddently been unable to connect to any web services WITHOUT my WiFi on, and i have no idea why. I'd installed Avast I.S. for the phone, but have now uninstalled it because of this.

I've checked some settings, but honestly can't find what settings would specifically target connectivity via WiFi, non-WiFi...

Called T-Mobile and am told that their settings for my service are all good (once before they'd forgotten to restore my web services when i had to have my services restored). The "tech support" (i use that term generously) reset my tower connection, asked me to clear my browser cache (see? 'generous') and i've reset my battery.

can anyone please assist me with what i might look at on my phone settings, etc? Obviously i need connection without my WiFi as i travel...

Your welcome. You can also go into the "Data Usage" area and tap the context menu (bottom left) and select "Restrict Background Data".

This will help keep Data usage to a minimum if your concerned about that. Some programs and auto update can be set to only update via wi-fi as well.

not worried about the data usage. i think i was just doing what i do best, "what's this button do, General Patton?" :push:

i love this S2 - can't wait for the S3...
