How can i find out when updates are available? And how about 2.3? hehe

So I take it the ROM works well then, could you give some feedback on it? Did the flashing process go okay? And how's the rom itself? Responsive, fast, do all features work? Camera bluetooth, appp2sd?

Also, if there's updates i'll update the links in my post and about 2.3, I doubt it for now, there are still loads of bugs in this rom and cyanogen haven't even released a 2.3 rom yet, so in time maybe we might see it!

Oh yes it works very well, especially in the beginning. I am beginning to see some sluggishness now but this was a low end phone to begin with so i guess thats normal.

I havent used bluetooth (i dont have any devices to pair it with!) but the camera works well. Theres no FM radio app. I cant reakky use the GPS at the moment.Apps2sd works fine.

One problem i ve seen so far is that the option to only show contacts with phone numbers doesnt seem to work.

Right now i rebooted the phone and some setting were reset like the wallpaper the default launcher and some widgets failed to load

So apparently there are some problems but no showstoppers

Hi, I'm new here and to Android phones, could anybody help me with this:

I have around 70MB free on my (non rooted) optimus and i intend on installing Moto X Mayhem, which is only around 22MB.. it still says i dont have adequate space!

this really disappoints me considering the fact that this phone's never gonna see the 2.2 update and it's really restrictive function wise Please help. Anybody here installed larger game files?? i see this video on youtube with Need for speed shift installed on this phone and playing like a dream, how come?

Hmm, well I had this problem when I was still on 2.1 but then I updated to 2.2 CyanogenMod, and I'm now able to install larger apps onto the phone! to install it just follow my instructions in my post: http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-gt540/251202-cyanogenmod-6-1-android-2-2-here-gt540.html just make sure you read the few bugs and missing features, but I'm using it now and it works flawlessly
