Epic 4G is stock I just got it a few days ago it was working fine now all of a sudden today when I download an app it says downloading and then the process ends there it never goes to install the app. I have tried to go into my market apps and hold down and tell it to install but the same thing happens it never goes to install. Anyone know a solution for this?

Obviously I have pulled the battery and tried to wipe the SD card still have same issue just doesn't ever go to the install portion of a download.

try it on wifi - I have had this problem and the only thing I can think of is it is the size of the download and the sprint network not liking it because of the lower signal strength

or if its only a couple of days old take it into the store and get it replaced - it could be an authentication issue with your sprint account if you had a previous android phone

I have read this but havent tried it but you could try clearing the markets cache, menu>settings>applications>manage applications>all apps>market, in there clear the cache.

Just a note about this...once you clear the cache, most of your apps won't automatically populate in the MyApps list. But, if your install, uninstall an app, they will come back...

Thanks i did not know that:-) good to know for sure, especially shooting from the hip like i was there.
