Root Unable to load rom properly HELP*

Hey guys,
My rooted s-on htc incredible hasnt been able to load any roms i flash properly. Recently ive tried flashing some of the ICS roms as well as Sense roms however, mikrunny sense rom for example, itll load into the spash "htc incredible" screen then turn black and load back into the splash screen and then it'll boot back into recovery. Any ideas? I've wipe cache/davilk, factory wipe as well as formatting the boot, systems, data and so on. I'm on CM7 right now and would like to go back to sense.

It may have something to do with you being s-on still. I'm pretty sure kernels won't flash if you are still s-on, which will prevent some ROMs from loading properly.

Thanks for the input. I sort of have an idea to fix the situation, which refers to the downgrading post, the only thing is that where Im going to find the stock ota gingerbread 2.3.4. and if it'll flash and load properly.

Will this method return it to complete stock with no root? I would just like to get back into 2.3.4 so I can downgrade and get s off.

It will remove root, but it is inconsequential as rooting gingerbread is simple. And only takes a few minutes. Downgrading and getting s-off is the more difficult part.

You know, i tried that method, the one above. It actually didn't work for me... i'm not sure why. Now i'm stuck on cm7.1 :S

Never mind. I tried the hboot method, that didn't work for me. I tried the RUU method which turned out fine. thanks! Now i just have to root, downgrade and all that junk again.
