"unable to move app" after root

I am on my 2nd Virgin Mobile Epic 4g Touch (settings button went crazy and replaced had to send in the 1st) and run into the problem only after rooting...both phones. Is this an issue with the rooted ROM? I cannot move apps to sd that I could before hand. Using any app to sd it says, "cannot move app". Is there a work around? I am on stock ROM while I fiddle with flashing on a LG OP V and Elite. Also I cannot download select apps and recieve the error message: "Couldn't install on USB storage or sd card." For example, "Where's My Water?" Which I bought and played before root. I just tried downloading the Phandroid app unsuccessfully. I hope someone can shed some light and apologize if I missed the issue already being addressed. I realize I shouldn't worry about it as there is plenty of room on the phone, I'm just a bit OCD and like things to be where I want them. Again, any help is appreciated and even if you can't help, just a nod so I know I am not alone/crazy. Thanks.

Having owned this phone, I can tell you that I experienced the same issue. I have never successfully moved apps on a rooted phone. I'm not saying it isn't possible, I just have never been able to do it.

I was about to move this to the root section, but I see you are asking people who haven't rooted if this is a problem for them as well ;)

I could be wrong, but I think I remember notebooko saying he was able to move apps to sd at one point.. maybe he can chime in here? :D

Never had any problems downloading apps.. now I did have issues with updating paid apps from Market with the Agats repack kernel.. so keep that in mind.

The issue seems to be related to the Agats recovery itself, also people should be aware that even with a fully functional recovery that some apps that were able to be moved on ICS might not be able to with the JB update because the sd cards mount points were changed, some apps might need to have the developer update them to reflect this.
