Unable to move apps to external sd card. Possible?

I can find no way to move any of my downloaded apps to the external sd card on my F7. This is the first Android phone that wouldn't allow me to do this. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a secret handshake I need to know? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
trying to figure this out myself. looks like everything is root and use an app so far..

but i'm trying to determine if rooting is as simple as running a root program, or i've read you need to change the kernel too.. i dont want to flash a new ROM on there, i just want to expand my storage space

Im tryin to do the same, I partition my SD card via put it in my old zte warp, not sure i have done it right. I have a 16g card, my question is what do I set the values at ex3 ex4 fat and all that stuff? any response would be much appreciated thank you
 
Im getting this message when trying to move a app to th sd card "App2sd is not supported by your device. because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your sd card"

Okay so i finally found an answer. I got the f7 from boost mobile and thought what the heck! why cant i move apps? So first you need to root your phone and download app2sd. you cant move apps with that app but i use it to check which apps are available to move. then download Aparted and partion your sd card. then download link2sd and choose an app create link and move to sd card and viola!
 
Hey guys. I'm new to the optimus f7, but I'm definitely not new to the emulated SD card issue. Seems all phones that come out after ICS are doing it, even some ICS phones. I hate the ICS era for that lol.
But, I need a solution to this. What to do?
Apps to SD card won't work, foldermount seems to only work with actual files, and not linking apps to SD card.

Anyone figure anything out? I love th phone entirely, but this is the only complaint I have. Couldn't be happier, regardless!
 
ok so i got it to partition but not sure which file system type to use (i picked ext4)
must make sure you go to configuration first ,and pick your sd card and not your internal memory (mine was dev/block/mmcblk1) cuz on my optimus f7 mmcblk0 is internal 4gb storage
