Unable to Open Book

I have downloaded a purchased Book from Amazon to my Kindle. I have tried to read the book on my Samsung Tab 2 10.1. The book appears to be on the tablet but the message "Can't open the file" appears. What do I need to do to open the book?

All the other books I have downloaded to my Kindle have appeared OK and open.

Are you trying to open with a file manager, or the kindle app?

Can you delete and redownload?

Thanks for your advice. I will try that next time if necessary but I have now returned the book.
