Help Unable to remove app icon

I got myself a samsung galaxy S2 ytd and was redecorating my homescreen..thats when i found out when i hold the app icon it does not vibrate and doesnt allow me to drag it along..is something wrong??

it may be the default app that came with the firmware, they cannot be removed or deleted.
I may be wrong though, i am new to android

I just found out the problem, truth is i must have accidentally locked my screen. silly me. im also new to andriod
