Alright. So this started today. Last night i rooted my esteem and put cwm on it and made a back up. the next day i am texting like normal in the morning and then i notice that people stop responding to me then in the afternoon when i get home i try texting a friend while i am skyping with him and he never gets any of my texts. after a little experimenting i come to the conclusion that only metro phones are getting my messages. i am able to get texts from everyone. After i got home and realized that people weren't getting my texts i wiped and flashed a new ROM in hopes that it would resolve it. it didn't, lol. any helps or suggestions?

Similar problem with me, starting on the 9th, my texts haven't been going through.
It just keeps sending, but never sends or even fails. I was under the assumption that it was an error on metroa end, since my bill is due on the 8th and it started happening the next day. Last month I paid for 2 months, Feb and March, so I think it might've been their end, since we all know metro in general had some pretty poor service.
No offence intended for those reps/employees that actually try to help lol

This does happen every now and then. I don't think it's an issue with the phone.
I notice sometimes if I don't pay my bill before the 16th, like 2 or 3 days before my bill becomes due. Things start to slow down and messages, messages don't go through, don't receive messages.
I think perhaps they have something that starts to " choke " off your phone to encourage you to get in and pay your bill.
Not a big deal , as mine always gets paid...but I think there definitely is something going on with that.

Funny tho, you cant call ALaska on Metro but Alaska can call you and you can text Alaska all you want. Just FYI if anyone has the need to talk to someone in AK
I thought I was loosing my mind when I couldn't call my friends mobile phone who was in the same room.. Duh, his AT&T iPhone was an AK number...
Solution: Google Voice
