Help unable to use flash because your battery level is too low

Hi

I tried to use my flashlight with 20% battery AND mains power (it's plugged in and charging now) but I got this error message. I googled it and there are only 2 results - other forum posts with no resolution.

Any ideas if/how this can be overridden? It's annoying.

I've tried a lot of work arounds - nothing seems to work for me including 3rd party apps. The only resolution is to charge the battery.

Sounds like a minor bug - being on charge means the battery state is irrelevant because the phone is being powered by the charger.

Software checking only the battery charge will complain if it's too low, but if it was just a bit more clever and checked the charging state too, it would get a more realistic idea of the power state.

install a custom rom....allows u to use the flash @ 10%....no boot sound either
