Unable to Voice text

With my previous phone (Samsung Galaxy Victory) I was able to hit to MIC button on texting and talk my text. How do I do this with this new phone?

Should be the same process...have you disabled stuff and/or messed with some settings? You may have inadvertently disabled it.

Same with mine when I bought it, you have to go to Settings/Language & input/Default, make sure LG Keyboard and Google voice typing are both checked, then the microphone will be there on the text keyboard on left of space bar.

OK Thanks! I'm not the type to ever change any settings, the Google Voice input was unchecked the way I got it! If I hit the gear left of the spacebar it takes me to settings. Still no MIC like my Victory had.

Do a long press on the gear and you will see the MIC.
