If you're stuck in bootloop after flashing KDZ, do a hard reset. Here's how to do it:

Hi guys, completely new here, I made this account to thank OP and point something out to people with the stuck at 15% issue....

Friend's Metropcs L70 kept bugging her to update her phone, so she did, and the update resulted in an infinite crashing loop. The phone would either crash during the bootup animation, or shortly after loading into the home screen with a msg pop up about the android UI crashing. Using this guide, I managed to flash the phone with the C version of the rom OP has in his guide, which I found in a different thread here.

For people having the issue where the software gets stuck at 15% and/or the program states the phone has disconnected / not connected, you probably need to install the LG pc drivers for the phone. You can download the official pc driver over at the LG website, just look up the correct phone and download the driver. After you install it, restart the PC (may not be necessary) and try again. Worked like a charm for me. Hope it helps someone.

Hello all :) so I downloaded the LG flash tool 2014 and it appears im missing the MS32310b_00.kdz file. I have searched all over the internet and all the links that direct me to the file all say 404 not found. Does anyone have this file they can share with me or a working link please.
Thank you much
Daddio

Because ots what it said in the guide i was following. Im not that smart at all this. This is a last ditch effort before a throw the phone away lol.
The phone was rooted and then it got stuck in some loop that says settings wont load. So i was trying to flash a new rom or unbrick or anything that may give back the setttings. So the phone is usable again.
Ty for ur reply.

my phone actually has no firmware or rom to boot into, my pc makes the sound when a usb device is connected, and the phone can be put in download mode, but the "firmware update" screen ive seen others come up with doesnt on mine due to having no firmware. when im flashing stock firmware onto my phone, itll have a pop-up saying that the device has been disconnected at every 1% increment, then i hit retry and it does another 1%, then it just stops going up at 60%, anyone able to help me here?

I have this phone with the c firmware and I'm rather a noob at all this.
What I have done so far before discovering this thread was
1. Tried the KingRoot tool from cda developers website
2. Thinking maybe I had the wrong version of KingRoot I tried another one
3. No luck with either according to Root Checker.

So now I have a couple questions
Is this what I should now do
1. Uninstall KingRoot and delete the installer from downloads
2. Do twogbsd' procedure above

If that all works then now I need to run a rooting tool? If so which one?
Once that is done then do I have to put firmware c back on?
If so with the same method as above only using c firmware rather than b of course?

My last question is will the phone be expected to be in the working order and setup settings it presently is
with the only exception being that it is rooted?

Like I said I'm a noob so just want to get this right before I mess up the phone ;)

Thanks

Uninstall your LG driver(every bit of it).
Download this LG Universal USB Driver and install it.
Download a kdz that matches your IMEI from here.
Follow the guide.
If you want to take a screenshot of your desktop, use the PrtSc button on your keyboard(next to F12 key), then open Paint and press Ctrl+V, then save the image(preferably as png).

Are you booted in Emergency Mode? If yes, then i'm out of ideas. Maybe you should just give it some more time, i mean the flashing process itself is slow. And yes, i know the tool stays at the "gear" icon. Still, give it more time.

Before using this guide, please make sure you can access Download Mode by turning off your phone, then hold Volume Up and plugging in your USB cable.

You should be in download mode before starting.

Big thanks to Sammyz for main firmware link and for showing me how to even do this :3
Also thanks to biggiephil for posting the LG Flash Tool.

Ok, lets start by download the Firmware that we're going to flash here: http://oudhitsquad.com/android/LGE/Firmware/MS323/MS32310b_00.kdz
Alternate firmware download here: Then download the LG Flash Tool here: http://d-h.st/Fph

Once you get those downloaded, extract the files from the LG flash tool zip somewhere. And to make things a little easier, put the firmware in the same directory as where you extracted the flash tool files.

Then open the LGFlashTool2014.exe up. For 'Select Type' choose 3GQCT. For 'PhoneMode' select EMERGENCY. Then go down to Select KDZ file and find the MS32310b_00.kdz file.

Now Click normal flash. A window like this should pop up:

Click start.

You should now see this:

Just click OK

A new window should pop up like this:

Your progress bar on your phone should now be moving. Congrats, we're almost done. If another smaller box pops up, just ignore it.

Simply wait for the progress bar on your phone to get to 100% and the phone should reboot, and everything will be nice and new again :D

Hi friend

Ok I got it working. In my case I think the phone was booting to fastboot mode and not Download mode. I typed this in fastboot mode:
fastboot erase laf
fastboot flash laf laf.img
fastboot continue

(go to LG LAF Recovery tool thread to get the laf.img file)
And that got me to Download mode and then the flash tool worked perfect. Phone is retored now.
Worked like a Charm :D
