Root Unclean shutdown

After I reboot my phone I always get this message in the notification bar. It states that my settings haven't stuck. When I click on it it takes me to the cpu settings page. It occurs to me as I'm typing this that I haven't checked via terminal if my overclock settings have stuck but I'm still curious as to what this means.
I'm not trying to come off as one of the "whiners" that I've seen people such as savoxis and trident getting angry with. I'm just trying to understand more about this amazing ROM and everything it has to offer. :D :D :D

I *think* its to help and try to avoid bootloops by oc issues. Like if you clock it too high and set it at boot and it reboots, you wont get stuck in a bootloop. I may be wrong as i am in no way a velocity insider. Just a guess

From what I've been able to tell I've seen this error when my phone reboots other than holding down power and selecting reboot. I agree with KingofGreen, it does appear to be related to overclock settings that are normally applied at boot.

Basically I've just gone in and hit apply at the overclock screen or just ignored it and went on without overclocking.

Hope this helps.

WARNING!! DO THIS ONLY WHEN YOU ARE SURE OF YOUR OC SPEEDS!!

I was able to go into the velocity script via the terminal and update my oc settings there. So now, whenever I get the unclean shutdown, it is still oc'd at boot. Not sure if this is intended or if I found a glitch, but it's handy.

I bet its a glitch

not a glitch, scripts were never intended to use this failsafe. And thatt's what the Unclean Shutdown is; a Failsafe. If your phone reboots abnormally, oc speeds are dropped, because the OC may have caused the problem. That's just the cool feature of the app in the toolkit. Scripts don't work that way. use at own risk.
