Help Unfortunately Gallery Stopped

Hey moderator,

I took a new S3 20days ago and its already started givng me trouble.
I tried to close down some apps/widgets to make my battery last a little longer, and now it says "Unfortunately gallery stopped"
I tried to reboot but it doesn't help.
Please suggest a solution.

Is this as soon as the device loads or just when accessing the gallery?

have you stopped any processes before trying to open the gallery?

Standard Rom or custom?
