Help Unidentified Icons

Riddle me this Batman, At the top of my EVO there is two Icons that look like,well, they look like fuel tanks or some type of signal level. One is green and one is blue and little white bars keep going up and down inside them. these things just showed up and i don't know what they are. I've only had this phone one day so I'm still learning.

That reminds me of this one app. I don't remember what it's called but I do remember that they have something to do with ram and a taskiller. I'll look it up but I think the name has CPU in it.
