Help Unified remote

Cant seem to get this working. Got all the ip and port correct on both server and phone.

Just wondering I opened the port it uses on my router, do I have to go as far as allowing my phones IP address?

Is this to allow you to use the phone as a computer mouse?

If so, this won't help with your app, but I highly recommend 'mk remote'

I had the same problem on my X10i.

I got it sorted out by enabling the data transfer, it wouldn't work on my phone unless I did this. If I turned off the data transfer after the app was connected, then it would die again. I also ran the server as administrator, but I am unsure that this was instrumental to the solution.

This also wouldn't work for me. But I purchased PhoneMyPC which I must say is a fantastic app. You can connect and control your Computer live from your phone ANYWHERE! (as long as both your phone and your computer have an internet connection).

I also use HomePipe which is a free app that allows me to browse files on my computer, from my phone
