Need help.

An apps "Slotomania" suddenly appear in home screen. I been looking around the application manager to uninstall the Slotomania apps but I can't find it.

Just wondering, is this some virus? The reason for my assumptions is because I did not installed Slotomania.

Please help.

Thanks.

this and many other problems are why i always opt to pay for apps if the option exists. it's hard to know what has adware inside until it's too late these days. not every dev warns the user that it is ad-supported if the app in question is free. nor do they tell you what exactly 'ad-supported' means. it could be a harmless banner, like an iAd in iOS, or more nefarious like Airpush or spontaneous shortcuts.

More than likely you've installed some free(ad-supported) app or game that had "Create shortcuts" in the permissions. And what's appeared is a shortcut for this Slotomania thing. It's not installed, it's a shortcut that will download and install it. It's an ad.
