Help Uninstall Astrozone App?

Hi there,
My mum has recently got a HTC Desire and there's an app called AstroZone (I think that's what it's called) that she wants to remove.
I've searched the forums and unfortunately I'm not familiar with her phone so I came here to ask for your help.
How would she go about removing this app? She's not sure if it's charging her for every message that gets sent through.

Look in settings > applications > manage applications > astrozon


If its uninstallable, it would say so here. If its not, then you'd have to root to get rid of it....

What do you mean about messages?

Hi SURoot,
She's received messages every day with her horoscope, which she doesn't want.

We had a look under settings > applications > manage applications as you mentioned but there wasn't one for Astrozon

I'm not familiar with Androids myself, can you suggest anything else or point me to a newbie guide for rooting (if it is called such) the phone?

No way. If you can't find an app to uninstall it, rooting won't help. Have you verified its an app? As in its in the app drawer? I can't find an app called astro zone. One called astrology zone and astrozone.com.au
