Help Uninstall Programs

How do you uninstall programs from the vibrant. Such as text-to-speech. Installed it but don't want it on my phone. Can you some how uninstall it?

If you have no third party apps for app management installed, simply go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications, then find the app you wish to dispense with, and choose Uninstall.

There are certain apps, and they vary somewhat from carrier to carrier, that require root access to remove. An example would be the Amazon.com MP3 app.
