I recently (like, very late May or very early June 2011) got a notification on my Sprint HTC Evo that a system update was available. I went ahead and installed it. I'm not impressed by any alleged improvements, and now don't have "call duration" showing up in my call history like it used to. Is there a way to uninstall this update and revert to the previous version? (My phone shows it has Android ver. 2.3.3, build 4.22.651.2)

Unless your very experienced I would say no its not really possible. There have been many discussions on this topic. I can't explain the exact procedure to you as it's different for all phones but it would involve rooting and flashing your phone. Alot can go wrong. I would just learn to live with 2.3 and hope an update comes out soon that resolves your problem.

Your pretty much stuck with it. Rooting is your only next option and that will take a bit more time as they try to unlock the hboot secrot.
