Root Uninstalling market updates?

I flashed the blacked out market app and really like it. Then it disappeared (reverted back to normal).

From what I understand from other threads, I need to uninstall the market updates and freeze the updater. Wipe delvik and reflash.

The only part I am unsure about is uninstalling the market updates? Can someone let me know how this is done?

Did you go into manage applications in settings and find the market on there? You should be able to find it there then uninstall updates.

oh....I feel like an idiot now.

So, I uninstalled the updates, froze the updater, wiped delvik and reflashed the black market app,

Now, market isn't working at all...says the app is no longer installed on the phone.

Any ideas?

lots of people have had trouble with this, i could never get it to work either. Flash the google apps (gapps) again from the rooting downloads page to get the market back, worked for me.
