Root Uninstalling ROM

Woops! Yeah, 2.3.340 :P

Previously I was running 2.2.1, With Libery 1.5, Overclocked to 1.34Ghz. Everything ran beautifully. Then GB came out. I was told NOT to accept the automatic update when Rooted and ROMd...so I Unrooted my device (Including getting rid of Clockwork and Superuser), Factory Reset using SBF. Reactivated my phone, and downloaded the GB update. And that is where Im sitting now.

I would like to Root it again, so I can use Titanium Backup and Overclock again. Which is how this thread started because I read how difficult it is to Root GB. But it sounds like you guys made it pretty easy for me. I might do it tonight...might wait til later in the week. Right now, im just running stock GB, no Root, No Overclock.

OK yeah. Root is definitely something I don't like going without. So just SBF. root. Flash those files. make a backup. unleash the beast. lol. It's not a long process but it will take some time. I'd say 30 minutes if everything is already downloaded. That's the longest part, for me at least.

By the way. In your opinion (Because I already have mine), Is the DX2 worth it? Because it seems to me, all it has to offer that the DX1 does not, is a Dual Core processor...which is no biggie if you can overclock your DX1. I doubt the speed different is that noticeable if at all.

I'm sure its awesome but just wait for the droid bionic, that'll be more worth it.

Also, remember to use the easy Z4Root on froyo if you are on froyo and you need to root before gingerbread. That's my advice. If Z4Root doesn't work the first time, just reboot and try again. [APP] z4root - xda-developers
