uninstalling updates

Hi, I am trying to uninstall the map updates to give me more room but after 2-3 minutes of it uninstalling I've given up thinking it shouldn't take that long.

Are the map updates able to be uninstalled?

They can be uninstalled, yes. I've uninstalled the Maps update myself, due to lack of space.

thanks, i decided to start fresh and do a factory reset, that way ive got rid of the map updates plus adobe flash player, voice search and gmail updates too.

just wish i was brave enough and had time to root lol

Its not difficult rooting the issue is knowing the system in & out so if anthing does go wrong then you know what the prob. would be !

i just dont have the time right now to take all the info in, and dont want to rush into it without reading up first.
