Every now and then while in a call the line goes dead. This can happen 10 seconds or 5 minutes into a call, and happens while the phone is against my face. I presume that for some reason the phone decides to activate the screen / touch functions and my cheek touches the mute button. The issue is similar to what is described here for the "Samsung Moment".
What makes it worse is that the G3 doesn't Beep to let me know the call is muted, so I'm talking away and eventually I realize the other person isn't responding. This morning I still thought I was talking then the phone started ringing in my ear again! When I discover this issue I press "unhold" and can then continue the conversation.
Having to constantly apologize to the other person about my phone getting muted unintentionally is realy frustrating - I expect better from a top-end device!
Does anybody else have a similar experience? Any suggestions on how to solve? This never happened on any of my previous phones (SGS2 / SGS3 / SGS4). I've had the G3 for a week and it happens about 2 or three times a day.
