Root universal kernel manager/kernel manager lite by team win

This app is downloadable from the market. It's like rom manager but for kernels, and kernels can be downloaded directly from there.
But my questions are: has anyone ever used this app?
Is it any good?
And does it work with shift?

As long as you make a nandroid backup BEFORE you flash the kernel, anything you do can be undone by restoring said nandroid.

Personally I'm having issues with it. When I try to download & flash a kernel, it says I need to update Busybox. I did but still didnt work.

i had the same issues when trying it with a sense rom. but it works great with cm7 so will prolly work with other asop roms.

I think you're right because I'm using the stock sense rom. Ah well, I'll just continue to do it manually =)

So I attempted it. It went through, but right before my phone rebooted (during that process, happens automatically) it said error amd force close.
How would I know if it worked or not?

After my phone turned back on my touch screen wouldn't work. Had to reboot my phone, took the battery out then started it back up. Waited 10 minutes then it started working again. Why was that? I got scared for a second :o
